Our customer, a leading district cooling provider in the UAE, required a temporary cooling solution during the commissioning of their District Cooling Plant at a luxury hotel and resort in Dubai.

SOLUTION

The temporary cooling plant was designed to integrate with the existing piping network at the location to ensure constant service to the customer. To deliver efficiencies similar to those expected of a permanent district cooling plant, RSS introduced new technology to enhance the performance of its cooling solutions.

• Unique chiller system selection and configuration, designed in-house in collaboration with the equipment manufacturers.

• Plant Performance Simulator for the ancillary temporary power generators.

• Installation of BTU metering and SCADA communications system to monitor plant performance.

• Chiller Module Flow Meters to enhance performance by determining the actual chilled water flow through each Module.

• Weather Station to monitor the ambient conditions to optimize performance.

• Installation of a GRP header to deliver our solutions in just two days.
