BRIEF

Our customer is responsible for ensuring sufficient electricity and water is supplied at the lowest cost to meet the growing demand in the Sultanate of Oman. RSS was asked to provide additional temporary power to top-up the main grid supply.

SOLUTION

Working in partnership with the customer, and in additional to the stand-alone project in Jalan Banj Bu Ali, RSS provided a specific solution that provided an on-demand power supply with 24/7 availability, drawing up to 24MW at any time. It was linked to the Main Interconnected System (MIS) in the northern governorates of the Sultanate, bordering the United Arab Emirates.
